…is a little “off.” I feel a little scrambled, not quite myself, out of sorts, even. Y’know the old saying “someone got up on the wrong side of the bed this morning?” Well, that’s me today, figuratively speaking at least.
I chose to skip out on a second double-up workout this week (Tuesday was a double – treadmill in the AM, core fusion at night) in favor of some extra zzzz’s with my sweetie. Thursdays I usually do STS legs (or another weight-based workout) in the AM and then Group Spin at night with my sister. It works out well since Scott works late on Thursday nights so it keeps me nice and busy, and let’s be honest, I love to workout, so everyone wins 😉
But this morning, I skipped out on legs and enjoyed the extra hour and a half of sleep, well worth it! But, now I’m off. I feel like I forgot to put on my other shoe or something before I left the house. So weird – but it goes back to my point that once you get into a solid workout habit, it becomes ingrained into your life, so when you shift things around, you honestly (swear to God) miss it!
So needless to say, I’m hoping this day goes by speedily so I can spin it up good tonight, especially since our instructor promised new music tonight so it should be a goody!
