…lots and lots of happy, fit, energized faces. Let’s just say the grand opening of the second barre n9ne studio location was a huge hit. Familiar faces, new faces, super-excited instructors and an awesome energy in the room. Reason #4,768 why I heart barre n9ne — the energy. πŸ˜‰

And this time, I’ll let the pictures do the talking for once…

Gorgeous new fitness room – look at all that space!

LOVE GROWN granola — an awesome sponsor of our big day and so, so, so yummy! ❀

Another goodie – Coach’s Oats, which I can’t wait to try for breakfast this week!

Popchips — if you haven’t tried the sweet potato flavor, you are missing out, OMG.

Chobani – ‘nuf said. (tastes even better with LOVE GROWN granola on top, mmm)

Zico chocolate coconut water — tastes like chocolate milk, only *way* better.

Fun, fruity drink concoctions, thanks to our barre-tender (and fit bestie!) Steph!

Just a few of the fab barre n9ne instructors— super happy bunch, aren’t we?

With Tanya — whose path I am so glad crossed with ours. Only more greatness to come from here, I can feel it. πŸ™‚

Demo class #1 – the barre n9ne method; this would be the infamous glutes at the barre series.

Working those shoulders during the barre n9ne method demo.

Demo class #2 – b9 fusion; a killer shoulder series done with the evil gray balls πŸ˜‰

And tricep dips — hurts so good πŸ˜‰

Cheers!  To many, many more months and years of success for Tanya, for barre n9ne and for the fabulous group of instructors I am incredibly proud to be a part of. barre n9ne is an amazing family. ❀

    • Right?? Lots of yummy treats all over the place! It was so much fun to pull it all together, too.

And THANK YOU — I’m finally used to the new cut and am loving it too!

  1. Sounds awesome. I wish I lived in Boston. I would totally come. And that chocolate coconut water is really good! Sounds weird, but tastes kind of like YooHoo.

  3. Such a fun day sis!! I am so glad we did this journey together…and it’s so hard to put into words what this year has meant. SO much change, SO much learned, so much GOODNESS. XOXO

    • This grand opening felt sort of like a personal celebration too, even though it was all about the new studio, I remember looking around at one point and thinking “wow, this is my new normal” and that makes me so, so, so happy. How far we’ve come in just under a year. It’s unreal.

  4. Ok, besides the fact that you guys look amazing and this day looks like it was definitely a smashing success AND I wish I could take your classes, I just noticed something for the first time – do you guys not wear socks in Barre N9ne? Do you slip at all on the hardwood floor?

    • haha aw shucks πŸ˜‰

And yes, we wear bare feet (some opt for socks) but I actually don’t notice slipping, I feel like I can grip the floor better with bare feet. I sometimes use the mat up at the barre mostly for cushioning than anything else though.

      • Interesting. Our exhale has only a hardword floor and I feel like I slip even with my grippy socks so I wondered if it was better on bare feet. We’re not allowed though! GRRR
